The first thing you need to do if you would like to be a crafter who has the ability to submit ideas to HeatherTeschCrafts.com is to notify me through a MESSAGE that you would like to submit craft ideas.  Make sure to state in the message that you would like to become a CRAFTER.  Once I see your message, I will promote you from a USER to a CRAFTER.  It is that simple.  (The technical process of promoting you to "crafter" will typically take about 24 hours, but the time may vary.)
 
Once you have become a "crafter" you can then submit your ideas for our craft editors to review.  Our editors will then select the crafts best suited for this site and our members, and post them on HeatherTeschCrafts.com.  All chosen crafts must meet the quality standards of HeatherTeschCrafts.com.  Crafts must be tasteful, instructions must be well written and easy to understand, and photos must be clear and of good quality.  All submitted material becomes the property of HeatherTeschCrafts.com.  By submitting your craft you are giving permission for Heather Tesch to use your idea on her website, on television, or in any future publication.  
 

 
How do I submit craft ideas to HeatherTeschCrafts.com?
 
As, mentioned above, you must become a "crafter" to submit ideas.  
 
As a crafter, here is how you submit your ideas:

1. Click on "Create Content" on the right side of the screen
2. Click on "Page".
3. Type the name of your project in the box labeled "Title".
4. Type your list of supplies and instructions in the large box under the word: "Body".
5. Above this box you will find small icons (tools) which will allow you do certain things, such as (B) make something bold, or (I ) italicized, or (U) underlined.
6. To add a photo click on the icon located on the far left of the second row.  It is a small yellow box with a mountain and sun.

• Click on the third tab: "Upload".
• Click on "choose file".
• Select an image from your computer files
• Click on "Send it to Server".
• Hit "ok"
• Hit "ok" again (if necessary).
• IMPORTANT: Photos can not be larger than 1000 PX .  Ideally your jpeg image should range between 350 and 550.  If you are having trouble loading an image it may be that it is too large.  Try resizing the image and try again.  (On my Apple I export the image as a jpeg with a custom size of 450 or 500.  I export from iphoto onto my desktop and then pull the image from desktop.)

1. After you have typed instructions and added photos within the "Body" box.  Scroll down to the bottom of the web page and hit "Save".  Your work will now be ready to be previewed by a crafts editor.  The craft editor will place selected crafts under the appropriate category.

When submitting craft ideas make sure you include the following:

1. List of supplies needed for project
2. Instructions
3. Photos
4. Credit.  If you came up with the idea, that is great, no need for additional credit.  However if you got the idea from a friend, book, magazine, website, or some other source, just mention where it came from.  

Please look at the layout of the craft projects already on HeatherTeschCrafts.com and try to follow the same form and spacing so that the format of each submission is similar.   
 
Spellcheck before you submit, and please review for errors before submitting.
 
Once you have "saved" your content please review again, spacing often appears differently in the finalized form and you may need to return to edit and add more spacing between paragraphs for continuity, ease of reading, and neatness.
